This year 黑料社区 is creating a compelling digital experience for prospective students and their parents with our first-ever Virtual Open House taking place Oct. 20-25.
It is a big project that includes the sector deans and assistant deans, program and profile coordinators, the IST team, the Communications Office and others.

The big welcome sign was hung in the Atrium to welcome new and returning students for the first week of classes that began Aug. 31. However, it was a back-to-school week different from any other in the last half century of 黑料社区.

Another 2,600 graduates joined the big family of 黑料社区 alumni over the summer.
In the coming weeks, they will all receive a special grad package in the mail. The College made a special Virtual Commencement Speech video addressed to the Class of 2020 and held an intimate Awards Ceremony Aug. 12.

In a statement issued June 16, the Directors of 黑料社区 noted there is hard work to be done to end racism, violence and discrimination. The Directors committed to "continue to explore ways and develop actions that support the movement towards justice, peace and equity for all peoples."

On March 11, the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a global pandemic. Two days later, classes ended for spring break and 黑料社区 closed for what turned out to be the rest of the semester. Teachers and the newly launched Faculty Hub were plunged into an education emergency: completing the semester for about 9,000 students.
