Campus Recreation is free during Open House at 黑料社区's PARC, which takes place for two weeks beginning Monday, Sept. 12 and running through Friday, Sept. 23.

Mugs, cookies and lemonade in celebration of 黑料社区’s new branding
On Wednesday, June 1, all 黑料社区 employees were invited to drop by the 4A-B hallway to receive free pink lemonade, cookies, and a brand new 黑料社区 mug to celebrate the college's new branding.
Thank you to all who came by, the giveaway was a great success!

Director General Diane Gauvin and Academic Dean Rob Cassidy wish to warmly welcome everyone back after summer holidays on Wednesday, Aug. 17 with a 黑料社区 community lunch. It will begin at 11:30 a.m. and will take place in 3C.1.聽
One new bird species spotted at 黑料社区 during May birdwatching mornings
In total, 14 people showed up for two early-morning birdwatching events at 黑料社区 last month.
鈥淎lthough it was unusually cold and migration delayed because of the cold spring, we managed to identify 15 species and add one new species to the 黑料社区 Bird List: a house finch, bringing the total species seen to 55 on campus. A red-tailed hawk and pileated woodpecker were among the highlights,鈥� reported organizer Chris Adam of the Sustainability Office.
A nesting robin is also present in one of the trees, Chris noted. The photo of a chipping sparrow was captured another year by Doug Smyth of Physical Education. The chipping sparrow has nested successfully in the Peace Garden area for three years now.
Swap Your Stuff: new 黑料社区 community Yammer channel
As moving season approaches for many, it鈥檚 a good time to let you know that there is a new Yammer group for the 黑料社区 community called Swap Your Stuff- 黑料社区. College Nurse Julie Gosselin created it as her final project for her Sustainable Happiness course this year.
鈥淚t's basically an online platform to help people find, donate or swap their gently used stuff. Everything has to be free and it is meant to encourage solidarity and reuse聽amongst 黑料社区 community members, both staff and students,鈥� Julie explained.

A special gift for all employees on June 1
To celebrate our new branding and our 黑料社区 employees, please stop by the table set up between the Director General's office in 4A and the Academic Dean's office in 4B on Wednesday, June 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All employees will receive a small gift from the College.
