Make a child鈥檚 wish to Santa come true
The 黑料社区 community is invited to once again make a child鈥檚 wish to Santa come true by participating in the Batshaw Youth and Family Centres annual Holiday Gift Campaign. The goal is to provide gifts and needed items for approximately 1,400 children aged 0-17 who are under Youth Protection in the Montreal region, including children in foster care and group homes.
Janice Harvey (Faculty, History) is looking for:
- Individuals or teams/departments to be matched with children and their wish lists for Santa ($ value up to you, suggested $50 per child)
- Volunteers to help deliver gifts to the Batshaw facility nearby on Weredale Park Street in Westmount.

Janice reminds us that these children are a part of our extended community. Many become 黑料社区 students and students in several 黑料社区 programs do聽stages聽in their facilities. This will be the fifth year that the 黑料社区 community has mobilized for this campaign. Last year we provided gifts for about 40 children.
