SSHRC and Women and Gender Equality Canada (WAGE) are launching the\u00a0 Gender-Based Violence Research Initiative<\/span><\/b><\/a><\/span>. <\/b><\/p>\n A webinar on how to apply will be organized in the coming weeks, so please visit\u00a0SSHRC\u2019s Upcoming Webinars<\/span><\/a><\/span>\u00a0page for updates.<\/p>\n Please note that this initiative is complementary to but distinct from the\u00a0Knowledge Synthesis Grants: Gender-Based Violence<\/a>\u00a0competition recently launched. Both competitions are open concurrently with different deadlines. The Knowledge Synthesis Grants aim to examine and synthesize existing knowledge on gender-based violence, whereas the Gender-Based Research Violence Initiative partnership grants aim to produce new research on particular themes related to gender-based violence that are outlined in the funding opportunity description.<\/span><\/p>\n
